TV tonight: the BBC opens a Billy Joel treasure trove

An archival feast for fans of the legendary US singer-songwriter. Plus, a soft landing for Whovians as Ncuti Gatwa, Billie Piper, David Tennant and Karen Gillan feature in a documentary about the making of the show. Here’s what to watch this evening8.40pm, BBC TwoIt’s basically a Billy Joel night for megafans to get lost in on BBC Two, with his 100th show at Madison Square Garden last year and a vintage recording from 1978 airing later in the evening.
