I first met Fizzy (Felicity) Oppé at a women’s liberation meeting in Cambridge in the early 1970s.Her charm, glamour and sense of fun were immediate. Despite the seriousness with which we took the mantra “the personal is political”, Fizzy never lost her awareness of the absurd.
