DeSantis Withdraws Death Warrant, Halting Florida Execution of William Lee Thompson

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis withdrew William Lee Thompson’s death warrant, halting his scheduled lethal-injection execution. It was the first time DeSantis had withdrawn a death warrant as governor.
