Spain Train Collision Report Estimates AVE Was Traveling 160–200 km/h

A preliminary report estimates the AVE was traveling between 160 and 200 km/h when it collided with an Iryo train in Urda, Toledo. Investigators say all hypotheses remain open pending analysis of the trains’ data recorders.
