Spanish Rail Safety Commission Found Frequent Communication Errors Between Trains and ADIF Control Centers

An investigation by Spain’s rail accident commission found frequent errors in train-to-control-center communications. It reviewed 98 conversations after an incident and found oversight mechanisms insufficiently effective.
