Iain Dale asks Rachael Maskell if she is a knobhead.A Labour rebel was asked to respond to claims she is a “knobhead” after losing the party whip.Rachael Maskell was one of four MPs suspended by Keir Starmer for numerous breaches of party discipline, including rebelling against the government on the recent welfare bill vote.A Labour insider told The Times they were guilty of “persistent knobheadery”.On LBC last night, presenter Iain Dale put those comments to the York Central MP.He said: “Geri Scott, the Times journalist who broke this story, asked No.10 for their reasoning for this and they said the reason why you four have had the whip withdrawn is because of, and I quote, ‘persistent knobheadery’.“Do you consider yourself a knobhead?”Maskell replied: “I don’t even know what that means, but I think it is really insulting.
