Chad Michael Murray Says He And His Wife 'Took A Family Vote' On Third Child

When Chad Michael Murray and his wife, Sarah Roemer, were deciding whether to expand their family again, they consulted their other children first.The Freaky Friday actor, who married Roemer in 2015, told Parade about the unique method the couple used when deciding whether to have another kid. “We took a family vote, actually,” Murray said in the interview, published on Wednesday. “We weren’t going to have a third child unless everyone was on board, including the kids.” The two were parents to a daughter, born in 2015, and a son, born in 2017, when they consulted their kids. The actor and his wife have never publicly shared their names. “Our son wasn’t on board for pretty much the entire time until finally ― one day ― he goes, ‘I’d like to have a baby in the family,’” Murray shared.“And we’re like, ‘Wow, look at that!’ And he’s the best with her,” he explained. “He’s so good all the time with her, and they love each other so much.” Chad Michael Murray and Sarah Roemer, seen here at Universal Studios Hollywood in 2019, let their first two kids have a vote in whether to add a third child to their family.Murray and Roemer welcomed their third child, a daughter, in 2023. The Cinderella Story actor said that, because he has two daughters, he often finds himself dressing like them. “I have two little baby girls, so I’m always wearing pink. I can’t help it,” he told Parade, adding that the coordinated looks put him “in a good mood.”“I love it. And the girls like it. So now we can match,” he shared. Spending time with his family is deeply important to Murray, who travels with his wife and kids whenever he’s on set. “I want to be there.
