Mrs Brown's BoysBBC show Mrs Brown’s Boys has been renewed for a fifth, four-episode season, which is great news for fans of the Brendan O’Carroll show. The new series, which starts on August 1, will be the first new regular season since 2023 (the Christmas special ran last year, which it has done since 2011).Mrs Brown’s Boys, which won a National Television Award for Comedy in 2024, has long been criticised (some would even say brutalised) by critics and audiences alike.
