Critics Mock 'Panicked' Trump's Online Freakout After Democrats Trounce Republicans

Critics have mocked President Donald Trump for a series of messages he fired off as polls closed and it became clear that Democrats were sweeping nearly every major race, often by wider-than-expected margins. First, he absolved himself in a message quoting unnamed “pollsters,” while also seemingly throwing Republicans in Congress under the bus over the ongoing shutdown of the federal government.
