Kash Patel Makes An Epstein Comment That Is Likely To Anger MAGA

FBI Director Kash Patel appears before the Senate Judiciary Committee for his first oversight hearing, Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2025, at the Capitol in Washington.FBI Director Kash Patel wants you to believe the “Epstein list” consists of only one name: Jeffrey Epstein.In comments likely to anger the MAGA world, Patel told a Senate committee Tuesday there is “no credible information” that the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein trafficked young women to other people.The FBI director was asked by Senator John Kennedy (Republican, Louisiana), “Who, if anyone, did Epstein traffic these young women to besides himself?”Patel replied: “There is no credible information, none. If there were, I would bring the case yesterday that he trafficked to other individuals.”The comments echo the Justice Department’s controversial July memo that stated there was no evidence of an Epstein “client list.”KENNEDY: "Who, if anyone, did Epstein traffic these young women to?"PATEL: "There is no credible information, none ... that he trafficked to other individuals." pic.twitter.com/KwE5mjENjy— Acyn (@Acyn) September 16, 2025Pressed later in the hearing by Senator Adam Schiff (Democrat, California), Patel awkwardly tried to qualify the claim.“I never said Jeffrey Epstein didn’t traffic anyone else,” he said, seemingly contradicting his earlier statement.
