Kim Woodburn on This Morning in 2017British TV personality Kim Woodburn has died at the age of 83.A representative told The Sun on Tuesday morning that Kim had died a day earlier, “following a short illness”.“Kim was an incredibly kind, caring, charismatic and strong person,” her spokesperson said. “Her husband Peter is heartbroken at the loss of his soulmate.“We are so proud of the amazing things Kim achieved in her life and career. We kindly ask that Kim’s husband and close friends are given the time and privacy they need to grieve. We will not be releasing any further details.”Kim originally rose to fame in the early 2000s when she began presenting the Channel 4 series How Clean Is Your House?, alongside co-star Aggie MacKenzie, which the pair fronted for six years between 2003 and 2009.Prior to that, she had been working as a professional cleaner.In the years after How Clean Is Your House?, Kim made several prolific reality TV appearances, finishing as a runner up on the ninth season of I’m A Celebrity behind Gino D’Acampo, with her campmates including Jimmy White, Samantha Fox and Katie Price.She went on to appear on Let’s Dance For Comic Relief (performing Diamonds Are A Girl’s Best Friend with Rosemary Shrager), Celebrity Come Dine With Me and Channel 5′s 100% Hotter, before being cast on Celebrity Big Brother in 2017.After a tumultuous time in the house, during which she came to blows with several of her famous fellow contestants, Kim finished in third place behind Jedward and eventual winner Coleen Nolan.She continued to make TV appearances on shows like Celeb Cooking School and Joe Lycett’s Got Your Back, and had been a regular contributor to GB News until recently.
