Nigel Farage 'On Course For No.10' After Shock New Poll Gives Reform Clear Lead

Is Reform UK leader Nigel Farage going to be PM?Nigel Farage is on course to be prime minister, according to a shock new poll which suggests Reform UK could win a majority at the next election.It puts support for the right-wing party on 30%, ahead of Labour on 25%.The Tories are in a distant third place on 18%, with the Lib Dems on 13% and the Greens on 7%.If those results were replicated at the next election, it could give Reform 334 seats, Labour 180, the Lib Dems 58 and the Tories just 23. That would hand Farage’s party a Commons majority of 18.The poll was carried out by Survation for the True North public affairs agency in the aftermath of the local elections two weeks ago, when Reform UK won nearly 700 seats, took control of 10 councils and also won two mayoral contests.Calum Ross, a senior advisor at True North, said: “This latest poll underlines the scale of the political earthquake that is shaking UK politics, with Nigel Farage now a serious contender to become the next prime minister.“The shockwaves from this ongoing surge in support for Reform UK will be far-reaching, not least for the Conservative Party, which is facing an existential crisis.“The only saving grace for Mr Farage’s opponents is that the next election is likely to be several years away.
