Russia Offers UK Unsolicited Advice While Claiming New Sanctions 'Reek Of Inertia'

Vladimir Putin's embassy in Britain has just offered the UK some unsolicited advice on sanctions...Russia has torn into the UK’s latest “meaningless” set of sanctions against the state – while also advising Britain to stop issuing such punishments. The government unveiled 30 new sanctions against Russian finance, military and energy targets on Tuesday, including the Kremlin’s shadow fleet and underwater intelligence gathering.Two UK residents operating a network of shell companies and handing profits to Russia have also been sanctioned.British prime minister Keir Starmer said the government knows Britain’s sanctions are “hitting hard” and that they will continue to “strike right at the heart” of Russia’s war machine.The new crackdown comes as Russian leader Vladimir Putin continues to drag his heels over potential peace talks with Ukraine.
