(Photo by Evan Agostini/Invision/AP)She may be in full Carrie Bradshaw mode right now amid the release of season three of And Just Like That, but Sarah Jessica Parker is already thinking about the third instalment to another iconic project of hers. The Sex And The City star famously appeared alongside Bette Midler and Kathy Najimy in the 1993 Halloween movie Hocus Pocus, which follows a coven of villainous witches. After the Disney classic finally got a sequel in 2022, SJP has now revealed that progress on a third movie is moving along.Speaking on a recent episode of Andy Cohen’s Watch What Happens Live!, the star answered an audience question about a potential Hocus Pocus trilogy.“No more developments other than we would like to do it,” she said. “We’ve been having some conversations.”The update comes after President of Walt Disney Studios Motion Picture Production, Sean Bailey, confirmed Hocus Pocus 3 was in development during a 2023 interview with The New York Times, with sequel director Anne Fletcher and writer Jen D’Angelo also confirmed to return. As of last year, Bette said on the talk show Busy This Week that she hadn’t “seen the script” but had “heard rumblings”.“I think if they’re gonna, they oughta because time is not just marching. Time is barrel-assing to the finish line,” she joked. “Get us while we’re still breathing, I mean, God!”SJP has been reminiscing a lot lately after starring in the latest season of And Just Like That, which picks back up with co-stars Kristin Davis, Cynthia Nixon and a host of new characters as the women of Sex And The City (minus Kim Cattrall) navigate their lives in New York City in their 50s.Recently, SJP jumped to the defence of her character after perceptions of Carrie’s moral character have somewhat soured over the years.“I would simply say that smart people make bad decisions sometimes [and] are foolish in judgement,” she told HuffPost UK.“I think, fundamentally, Carrie is an extraordinarily decent and good person – an extremely devoted friend, she’s generous of spirit and time, in all she has to offer.”Related...Sarah Michelle Gellar Has 1 'Dream' For The Buffy Reboot That Fans Are Going To LoveSarah Jessica Parker Recalls 'Sobbing' Over Magazine's 'Really Mean' Comments About Her Looks'It's Interesting How We Judge Women': Sarah Jessica Parker Fires Back At Carrie Bradshaw Haters
