Strictly Come Dancing Favourite Confirms He Won't Have A Celebrity Partner On 2025 Series

Strictly Come Dancing's team of professional dancers pictured during last year's seriesWith just days to go until Strictly Come Dancing starts announcing the famous contestants who’ll be put through their paces on the show this year, one of its longest-serving professionals has confirmed he won’t be getting a celebrity partner in 2025.On Wednesday afternoon, Gorka Márquez shared with his Instagram followers that later this year, he’ll return to the Spanish version of the show, Bailando Con Las Estrellas, where he’s part of the judging panel.As a result, though, he explained that he would be unable to commit to a celebrity partnership on the forthcoming series of Strictly.Gorka Márquez pictured in 2022“Due to the filming dates this means that I won’t be competing with a partner this year in Strictly,” he said in his post, but noted that he would still be appearing in the pre-recorded group routines – filming on which began last week – and would be in the studio for the latter half of the series.Gorka wrote: “I will be a part of lots of the group numbers and will be back for final weeks of the Show to support the rest of my fellow pros and their celebrities in what is going to be an AMAZING SERIES.“As always thank you for all the love and support and remember!
