Turkish Court Rules Equal Income Means No Alimony After Divorce

Turkey's Court of Cassation overturned a lower court's decision to award alimony to a woman who had a similar income to her ex-husband. The ruling states that if parties have equal or near-equal incomes, the conditions for alimony are not met.
