Pokémon Concierge Is Officially Back For More New Episodes On Netflix
Psyduck and Haru are back for more fun in Pokémon ConciergeIf you’re looking for something cute and cosy to offer some escapism this weekend, we can definitely recommend the new episodes of Pokémon Concierge that just arrived on Netflix. The stop-motion animated series won over a cult following when it debuted at the end of 2023, with a rare enviable critical score of 100% on the review aggregation site Rotten Tomatoes. At the time, though, many fans were disappointed at its fleeting runtime, and the fact that there were only four episodes to enjoy, one of which clocked in at just 14 minutes.Well, it may have taken the better part of two years, but our prayers have finally been answered, with four more brand new episodes premiering on Netflix on Thursday 4 September, effectively “completing” season one.Come on, who doesn't want to spend more time with this Psyduck? For the uninitiated, Pokémon Concierge is a gentle, low-stakes series about a young woman named Haru, who joins the staff of a resort specifically aimed at Pokémon looking for some R&R.If you think that sounds adorable then just wait – because while past screen adaptations of Pokémon have used traditional anime or CGI, this project makes use of stop-motion, with each of the classic characters recreated out of fuzzy materials that truly do look like you could reach through the screen and touch them.An official Netflix synopsis teases: “The delightful series follows Haru, a new concierge, who takes care of the Pokémon alongside the experienced senior staff. As she learns how to make her guests happy, she also embarks on a journey of adventure, friendship, and self-discovery.”If you breeze through Pokémon Concierge in full, and you’re still hankering for some nostalgia, Netflix is the UK streaming home of plenty of other Pokémon projects, perhaps most notably the first 52 episodes of the classic anime Indigo League.Alternatively, if you like your Pokémon more on the adorable side, then you can always stream 2019’s Detective Pikachu, which is available on Amazon Prime Video now.MORE NETFLIX:The Thursday Murder Club Has Officially Been Dethroned As Netflix's Most-Watched Film Right NowThis Is Why Season 2 Of Meghan Markle's Netflix Show Is Being Slammed By Critics'I'd Vote For Her': Suranne Jones Lifts The Lid On Her Prime Minister Character In Netflix's Hostage
