Drew Barrymore Phones A Famous Ex, Reminisces About Public Urination During Wild Show Segment

Drew Barrymore had a bit of a snafu when she phoned a famous ex, Luke Wilson, during a recent segment on her daytime talk show.The Never Been Kissed star called her old boyfriend with her guest, Vince Gilligan, who is best known for writing Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul. Vince also wrote the screenplay for Home Fries, which Drew and Luke both starred in. When Drew originally went to call Luke during her live studio taping, he unfortunately didn’t pick up. “This is not going the way I planned,” she remarked as her phone rang, sans Wilson answering. “But, what does in life, right?” When the daytime talk show host was sent to voicemail, she gushed over her time with Luke. Barrymore waiting on Wilson to pick up her call.“We were just talking about you, and we’re sending you love, and can you believe Home Fries was 27 years ago now?!” Drew said over the phone.“I know this is just a voicemail, but I love you, I’m sending you love, and I’m here with Vince on the show, and we’re thinking about you.” Luckily, Luke ended up calling right back and gave a very sweet explanation for why he hadn’t picked up. “Hey, Drew!” he said. “Sorry, I was taking my trash cans out.” Luke, Drew and Vince then reminisced about their time together, and the host shared a very special memory from her relationship with the Legally Blonde star, with whom she was in a relationship between 1996 and 1998. “Remember, I got arrested for public urination with you?” Drew said, while Luke laughed and said: “I recall that.” Drew has opened up about their public urination incident before, which occurred just before she and Luke were going to see Beck in concert. “I was peeking out of the bushes like, ‘Hi!’” she said, when she had Luke on the show back in February.luke added that the two were “detained us for a little bit and frisked us”.
