Farage Urged To 'Come Clean About What He Knew' After Reform MP Quits Party

He took no action against James McMurdock and instead outsourced the problem – that’s not leadership.“Reform has consistently claimed its vetting procedures are of the highest standards. Yet a man that was jailed for assaulting a woman and is now accused of ripping off taxpayers managed to slip through the net.”She added: “Nigel Farage must urgently come clean with the public about what he knew and when. Farage’s Reform has proven once again that they simply cannot uphold the high standards expected in public life.”Reform UK has been contacted for comment.McMurdock is the second of the five Reform MPs elected last July to no longer represent the party in parliament.Rupert Lowe was suspended by the party in March amid allegations of bullying, which he denied, and now also sits as an independent MP in the Commons.Reform has added one MP to its number since the general election, with Sarah Pochin winning the Runcorn and Helsby by-election in May.Related...Former Reform MP Quits Party Amid Probe Into His Business DealingsReform UK Accuse Macron Of 'Outrageous And Deliberate Snub' For Not Meeting Nigel FarageMajor Boost For Farage As Mega-Poll Predicts Reform Will Be Twice As Large As Any Other Party
