We may know what they did last summer, but fans are still wondering if there’s real drama between Sarah Michelle Gellar and Jennifer Love Hewitt.While at the red carpet premiere of her show “Dexter: Original Sin” in December, Gellar was asked about Hewitt’s participation in the revival of the ’90s horror classic “I Know What You Did Last Summer.” Fans speculated that the actor seemed dismissive when she responded, “I have nothing to do with that.” Fast-forward to Monday at the slasher film’s premiere, and rumours began churning yet again. Eager fans noticed that Hewitt and Gellar, who was there to support her husband, Freddie Prince Jr., for his role in the latest instalment, weren’t in any photos together.Now Gellar has set the record straight in a comment on Instagram.Actors Sarah Michelle Gellar and Jennifer Love Hewitt.“For everyone asking - I never got to see @jenniferlovehewitt, who is fantastic in the movie,” she wrote. “I was inside with my kids when the big carpet happened. And unfortunately JLH didn’t come to the after party.”The “Buffy The Vampire Slayer” star then shared that the event was too “crazy” to get many pictures.“If you have ever been to one of these it’s crazy. I sadly didn’t get pics with most of the cast,” Gellar continued. “But that doesn’t change how amazing I think they all are. Unfortunately some things happen only in real life and not online.”Though Gellar’s “I Know What You Did Last Summer” character got killed off in the original film, she will appear in the reboot of “Buffy,” not as the lead, but in a recurring role.
