Taylor Swift's New Album The Life Of A Showgirl Will Feature A Duet With Another Pop Icon

Taylor Swift on stage last yearTaylor Swift has dropped the tracklist for her new album, The Life Of A Showgirl, and there’s one guest feature that’s sure to send Swifties into overdrive.Earlier this week, the pop megastar announced her 12th album during an appearance on her boyfriend Travis Kelce’s podcast New Heights.Since then, Taylor has unveiled the album’s cover art, its stellar team of producers and details of special deluxe CDs which are available to order now.Not only that, but the whole tracklisting has now been revealed for fans to speculate on and dissect for clues until the album officially drops on 3 October.View this post on InstagramA post shared by Taylor Swift (@taylorswift)But the one song that’s certain to get everyone talking is the title track, which features none other than her Eras tour opener Sabrina Carpenter. Since touring with Taylor as one of the opening acts at her record-breaking Eras world tour, the Manchild singer has gone on to reach incredible new milestones in her own career, including releasing the chart-topping album Short N’ Sweet, embarking on a mammoth world tour in support of the record and racking up no fewer than four UK number ones.Over the summer, she also sold out two huge shows at London’s BST Hyde Park with around 65,000 fans in attendance each night.Taylor Swift and Sabrina Carpenter at this year's GrammysThe Life Of A Showgirl will feature 12 new tracks and include songs titled The Fate Of Ophelia, Elizabeth Taylor, Father Figure and Wi$h LiSt..Speaking on Travis and his brother Jason’s podcast, Taylor confirmed that there would be no more songs arriving with this album, in contrast to her surprise double album The Tortured Poets Department, which clocked in at 31 tracks in total after she dropped a deluxe version just two hours later.Taylor has also revealed that the album was recorded between shows on the Eras tour, sharing that she would fly to Sweden to work on the record during her days off.
