Trump Breaks Silence On Health Rumours After Days Of Limited Appearances

President Donald Trump on Sunday fired back at rumours that he may be in poor or declining health amid a lighter-than-usual public schedule in recent days. “NEVER FELT BETTER IN MY LIFE,” Trump wrote in an all-caps response to a poster who called it a “double standard” that Trump’s absences are scrutinised, while former President Joe Biden’s were not. Trump has faced growing questions about his health, including swollen ankles and bruises on his hands that are frequently covered with makeup. The White House has said Trump suffers from chronic venous insufficiency, which involves poor blood flow from the legs back to the heart and leads to swelling around the feet and ankles. The bruises, they said, are from frequent hand-shaking combined with aspirin use. Vice President JD Vance last week said he’s “very confident” that Trump will serve his full term.“The president is in incredibly good health,” he told USA Today. “He’s got incredible energy.” Vance said that if “God forbid” something happens to Trump, he’s ready to step up. Trump’s last public event was a Cabinet meeting on Tuesday that included high-level officials taking turns praising the president. While he continued to post on social media, the president himself remained uncharacteristically out of sight until the weekend. Trump was spotted by cameras ― briefly ― on both Saturday and Sunday as he left to go golfing. Trump also did an interview with The Daily Caller on Friday that was posted online on Saturday.
