Read on to find out.Getting set upNow, I won’t sugarcoat it, getting started with the Perfect Prep Pro Bottle Feed Maker involved a fair few rounds of rereading instructions. But once I’d got my head around it, the whole setup took about 15 to 20 minutes – and the extra legwork involved at the beginning was worth it for the endlessly easy bottles I’ve prepped since. Here’s how it works: Pick your formula dispenser and your desired feed size.Pop your bottle under the water outlet.Hit the button for the hot shot of water.Twist on the lid, give it a swirl like a pro bartender, and…Add the cool, filtered water to finish the job. All of this magic takes less than five minutes – and you get a perfectly-made bottle without breaking a sweat. I road-tested the bottle maker and found the steps incredibly easy to follow – especially as a first-time dad who’s new to making up formula.I particularly like how the gadget looks – it’s a sleek bit of kit which doesn’t look out of place or unsightly on our kitchen counter.And it’s made my life so much easier. Prepping bottles can be a faff – especially in those early newborn days when you need to make up multiple a day – but this machine takes the hard work out of the process. Tommee Tippee says the bottle maker is up to 10 times faster than boiling water from a kettle (yes, really), and 10 times more accurate than your hand-measuring efforts (a dream when you’re sleep-deprived and thinking about a million other things).The formula prep kit combines smart scales, a patented hot shot, and filtered water tech to give you perfectly measured feeds every single time. There’s no scooping of formula, no guessing how much water to add in, and no clumping either. (Admittedly it took me a few attempts to get the technique right.
